Easter Shots and a Dog Too??

We spent the morning at church and then headed home to cook our leg of lamb. It was a beautiful Easter Sunday so once we got home and took some pictures we all changed into shorts and t-shirts to relax and enjoy the weather. My mom walked all the way over for dinner too...:-) We wrapped up the day with a game of Scrabble Jr. which Elena and Hannah somehow managed to totally kick our butts.

This picture is in our backyard. We are getting many blossoms on the cherry and apple trees. And as you can see behind us, in front of the fence, the grape vines are starting to grow....yummy!
And I forgot to mention that we have another new addition to the family. Joel didn't feel like he had enough women around him so he brought home Liberty, a very sweet yellow lab about 3 years old. She got to spend some quality time with the family today too. Isn't she cute??

Easter Fun

Hannah's preschool class had an elegant Easter party and Hannah was able to wear her beautiful dress that Auntie Jo got her at Christmas.

They made bunny hats, bunny Easter bags, bunny cupcakes and someone who had way too much time on their hands made little bunnies out of white washcloths. They were holding an egg with candy carrots inside. Tooo cute!
And what elegant party would be complete without olive fingers?

Rachel made her first big trip into the real world to see everyone at my work. She was quite a show stopper and even brought someone to tears. She is doing great and big sister Elena now knows how to change a diaper. SCORE!!

Proud Big Sisters

The girls are more than thrilled with their new "live dolly". You have to pry the baby out of Elena's arms and Hannah think she's neat to poke at and very soft. They are still learning their boundaries and mommy's trying not to be too over protective. She is so sweet and so far loves to sleep but I know things can change. :-)

Joel is Outnumbered!

Rachel Faith Dyer arrived Thursday night at 10:30 after 3 hours of labor. She weighed

8 lbs/7 oz and was 21 1/4 inches long. She's got a beautiful head of brown hair and dark blue

eyes and cute red lips. More pics to come!
