Tahoe Trip

The whole clan: The Goshgarian Family and the Dyer Family
We all rented a cabin up in Tahoe and went sledding with the kids. A few got to go snowboarding on Sat but poor Justin broke his wrist and Sun could hardly move for 2 days after she tried it. All in all we had a great time. The kids didn't want to go home.

Rachel didn't like the snow but I tickled her to get a cute pic.

Rachel 11 months

Rachel loves sticking her tongue out. Although now she has found her nostrils quite intriguing so we've moved on from the tongue to nose picking.

Elena's first swim meet

Elena started out the meet with the 50M freestyle. This was her very first race and was a little nervous before it started, even shed a few tears. After a few minutes of encouragement and prayers, she was ready. You couldn't tell she was nervous once she was in the water. She wasn't quite sure whether to dive in or not as you can see and she got a little tired towards the end, but otherwise, she had a GREAT first race! Her buddy Kaitlyn also swam at the meet so we were able to hang out with her family and cheer her on as well.

It was Freezing at this point of the trip to Pt. Reyes and Rachel had the warmest spot around..tucked into Joel's jacket where she fell asleep.

Just like us, there noses get bigger as they get older. They remind Joel and I of Gonzo the muppet. Curious creatures.

We think a shark might have tasted this one.

All in all, a fun excursion for the family until about 4:30...then it was WAY too cold.

Point Reyes Lighthouse

I thought this plant was amazing since it grew right out of the rock. Its the only one there.
